Event #1 Overview

On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, over 120 stakeholders and key leaders from across Lake County gathered to launch the Housing Lake initiative—a six-month collaborative effort bringing together leaders from business, government, development, and community advocacy to address our region's housing challenges.

During the kick-off event, participants networked with fellow coalition members, heard opening remarks about the initiative's goals, engaged with a diverse housing panel discussion, and participated in two facilitated table exercises designed to build connections, establish shared priorities, and identify personal commitments.
